Jeanette Perthel is a City Data Fellow at the Mayor’s Office of Performance and Innovation. She previously worked for Baltimore City’s health department where she piloted the homebound vaccination program during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is a Maryland native with a bachelors in Criminal Justice from Towson University and a certificate in data analysis from the University of California, Berkeley.
After graduating, Jeanette worked for the non-profit, Offender Aid and Restoration, in Arlington,VA where she assisted people previously incarcerated to re-enter their community, oversaw classes at detention centers and presented at outreach events for returning citizens in Washington D.C and Northern VA. Jeanette is also a certified early childhood educator and worked as a teacher at Beth Shalom Early Childhood Center in Potomac, MD, where she is originally from. She loves thrifting, exercising, trees, and python.
