Joale received her B.S. in Information Science from the University of Maryland, College Park (Go Terps!!). During her time at UMD she was very active in the Caribbean Student Association where she helped organize events, fundraisers, and meetings centered around sharing and celebrating the different aspects that make up Caribbean culture. She hopes to be able to combine her love for different cultures and her experiences as a Data Fellow to help promote initiatives that foster growth and inclusion within the communities she gets to work with. 

After graduation Joale worked as a Human Resources Data Analyst Intern with Six Flags America. As a Data Analyst Intern she created and analyzed payroll and staffing reports for park executives and the Employees Services Office. Joale is currently a Data Fellow and is excited to help the City of Baltimore flourish and grow. 

Fun fact: Even though Joale has never been to San Francisco, her favorite team happens to be the San Francisco 49ers.
